UnSectored is about bringing people together to discuss ways to better create change. Fundamentally, that is an experiment in civic engagement. We at UnSectored want people to get more involved in their communities–however you define that word–and create the change needed to build a better society.
Voting is the most fundamental part of civic engagement. No matter where you are (assuming it’s in the US), no matter who you are voting for, make sure you get out today and cast your vote. If we can’t at least do this simple activity, we can’t begin the broader discussions necessary to make a more collaborative society.
The results of this election may be immensely consequential, they may not be. Either way, there is nothing more consequential than paying attention, doing your civic duty and letting your voice be heard in this national conversation.
So get out there and vote!
